Engineering
as a business language

Code that flows through a trading floor is never neutral. Behind every FIX session, every order routing decision, every latency window tolerated, there is a business decision encoded in technical constraints — and an engineer who chose to speak both languages.

Ten years in Front Office have taught me that the value of a system is not measured by its internal elegance, but by the trust it earns from traders, sales desks, and risk managers who rely on it at market open. A successful OMS migration is a trading floor that keeps working without noticing. A resilient FIX flow is sixty thousand orders clearing validation without friction, day after day.

Since 2024, I have added another dimension to this equation: agentic AI in production-critical systems. Integrating Claude and the Model Context Protocol into Front Office workflows is not an R&D project — it demands the same standards of reliability, auditability, and resilience as any other part of the infrastructure. This positioning, rare in the Paris market, is what I am actively building.

Amundi · 2026 · Four-eyes validation

The 4-eyes principle
in real time

On high-impact Securities Financing operations, the operational risk of single-party validation is well documented. The challenge: implement a four-eyes control without introducing perceptible latency on flows that never stop.

The solution relies on an asynchronous workflow decoupled from the order's critical path, with an immutable audit trail and automatic end-of-session reconciliation.

"Zero validation incidents since go-live. Control becomes invisible when it is properly designed."

BNP Paribas CIB · 2022–2026 · OMS & Custom Index Pricing

End-to-end
Front Office transformation

A complete transformation of a Front Office system managing custom index pricing and the full order lifecycle — in an environment where scalability and time-to-market directly drive commercial competitiveness.

Monolith-to-microservices migration in Java 21 / Spring Boot, preceded by business requirements gathering from trading and structuring desks. Financial data integration pipelines (Bloomberg, Reuters, Markit) built with Apache Camel. Business workflow orchestration — validation, enrichment, pre-execution preparation — via Camunda for full traceability. Futures roll-over mechanisms implemented to ensure investment strategy continuity across maturities.

Amundi · 2024 · Agentic AI

First Claude agent
in Front Office production

Integration of a Claude agent via MCP for intelligent FIX flow monitoring and incident diagnosis on the trading floor — the first production deployment of its kind in a Paris investment bank.

Strict read-only access, full traceability, contextual alerting with actionable recommendations.

SFR · 2019–2022 · SIGC Modernisation

50 million accounts,
distributed architecture

Modernisation of the SIGC system in a distributed architecture — targeting performance, scalability, and industrialised data processing at very large scale.

Java 8/11 migration, Spring Boot microservices exposing SOAP & REST for cross-system interoperability. Event-driven architecture via Kafka for real-time update notifications. Automated batch processing for external file integration with Spring Batch. Indexation of 50M+ customer accounts in MongoDB and Solr. Kubernetes orchestration via Airflow and VTOM for reliable scheduled processing.
